NWBLT Welcomes Innovative New Member

The NWBLT is delighted to announce a new member of the Team.  Assura, a FTSE 250 company based in Warrington who work in the health construction sector are a fascinating firm placing innovation at the core of what they do. This has been exemplified recently with the construction of a zero carbon GP surgery in Gorton in Manchester.  There is no doubt the insights of Assura will be of huge benefit to the NWBLT and in our ambition to make the North West a successful and innovative region. We welcome, Jonathan Murphy and his colleagues from Assura and look forward to working with them in 2019 and beyond.

Jonathan Murphy

Jonathan shared with us why he so strongly believes the work of the NWBLT and Assura align so well. “Our region’s commitment to health – from the people who live and work here, to the way the North West does business and in the way its economy is growing for the future – is a theme which runs right across the North West Business Leadership Team’s priorities. I look forward to working with colleagues from businesses across the region on the full range of challenges facing the North West to ensure a healthier economy and a healthier future.”

Richard Carter

NWBLT Chairman Richard Carter expressed his enthusiasm for Assura’s membership saying: “I know I speak for all of the North West Business Leadership Team when I say that we are thrilled to see Assura join our organisation of business leaders. Assura are a fascinating construction business within the health sector, this in itself will add considerable scope of thought to all of the work undertaken by the NWBLT and demonstrates the cross cutting nature of the NWBLT network. As we all know, the North West is home to so many fantastic businesses and it is good to see FTSE 250 organisations, like Assura, adding their influential voice with unique insights to the delivery of the ambitions of the NWBLT. This is tremendous news to end the year on and I look forward to working with Jonathan and the entire Assura team as we tackle the challenges in the year ahead.” -Richard Carter NWBLT Chairman.
